35W at 94: Downtown to Crosstown Project

Construction and Closures

MnDOT will began more than 4 years of construction in August 2017 to improve the transit station at I-35W and Lake Street. Lanes and exits will be closed for intervals of time during construction. Keep up to date on closures on MnDOT’s project website: http://www.dot.state.mn.us/35w94

Telecommuting can help!

This project will increase travel times for commuters that use I-35W through South Minneapolis. Keep yourself and your employees productive by allowing them to telework! eWorkPlace offers free training and tools to help employers track the impact of your teleworking employees. Employees are entered in a drawing for a $100 gift card after they complete the consumer calculator survey. Employers and employees learn how much they save, keep track of how frequently they telework, and learn about the positive environmental impacts of teleworking. You can even take the survey if you already telework.

Work with us to become a Telework Champion by promoting the use of telework at least one day a week. If your organization becomes a Telework Champion, they will be honored on our website, and have the opportunity to tout commitment to teleworking by using our logo.
